Vinery Stables' D'WILD STORM made it three straight visits to the winner's circle! Our 3-year-old son of D'WILDCAT scored his latest win in the 8th race at Woodbine, a six and one-half furlong allowance over the Polytrack.
D'WILD STORM drew the inside post in the field in the field of eight and although he has won on the lead, today he tucked in right behind the early leader. He stayed in that spot until the top of the stretch when he moved out and began to close. The leader was a stubborn foe and was not giving in, but D'WILD STORM would not be denied. He found another gear, caught the stakes-performing pacesetter and moved away to win by three-quarters of a length.
D'WILD STORM was unplaced in his debut, but he has been flawless since. He has won three of his four starts and he has earned $103,823. Trained by Josie Carroll, he was bred in Ontario by Sophian Stables. He was produced by the Peace for Peace mare, Summer Storm.
